Refund and Returns Policy

At Travel Care Travels & Tours, customer satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to providing a transparent and fair refund process for all our valued customers. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or returns (cancellations) are available for travel services purchased through our platform, in line with industry standards and applicable laws of Bangladesh.


1. General Policy

Travel Care acts as an intermediary between you and various travel service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation services). Each service provider has its own refund and cancellation policies, and our ability to provide a refund depends on the specific terms set by the relevant provider. Where possible, we will facilitate your refund request in accordance with the provider’s terms and conditions.


2. Eligibility for Refund

A refund may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Flight Bookings:

    • Refund eligibility depends on the fare conditions set by the airline.

    • Non-refundable fares are not eligible for refunds unless explicitly stated by the airline.

    • Refunds for refundable tickets will be processed subject to airline rules and administrative fees.

  • Hotel Bookings:

    • Refunds are available if cancellations are made within the free cancellation period as specified at the time of booking.

    • No refunds for no-shows or cancellations outside the permitted window unless the hotel provider agrees.

  • Tour Packages and Transportation Services:

    • Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy provided at the time of booking.

    • Partial or full refunds may be granted if cancellations are made within the allowable period.

  • Visa Assistance Services:

    • Service charges for visa processing are non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the respective embassy or high commission.


3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Failure to obtain travel documentation (such as visas, passports).

  • Denied boarding or entry due to passenger-related issues (e.g., incomplete documents, immigration decisions).

  • No-shows or late arrivals.

  • Cancellation of booking outside the allowable refund period.

  • Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political instability) unless the provider offers a waiver.


4. Refund Process

  • To request a refund, you must submit a written request to refund@travelcarebd.com along with your booking reference and supporting documents.

  • Upon receiving your request, we will verify the eligibility based on the provider’s policies.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 working days depending on the service provider and payment method used.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking, unless otherwise agreed.

Note: Any service fees, bank charges, or administrative fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.


5. Changes and Cancellations

  • Certain bookings may allow modifications (e.g., date changes, name corrections) subject to availability and service provider policies.

  • Change fees may apply depending on the nature of the modification and the specific rules of the provider.

6. Exceptional Situations

In cases of extraordinary disruptions (e.g., airline bankruptcy, government-imposed travel bans), we will assist you in negotiating with service providers. However, refunds in such cases are subject to the provider’s final decision and applicable government regulations.
